Rome Opera Theater - 2008 Opera and Ballet season
Inaugurated in 1880, the Rome Opera Theater is still the vibrant heart of the capital's classical music scene. Repeatedly renovated, it can now seat about 1,600 spectators. The theater's legendary acoustics are unrivaled. Every year the theater hosts a rich opera and ballet season. Puccini will be a focal point of this year's opera season.
